Lakeshore Records release Ian Arber's score for I Am Bolt. With exclusive access to six time Olympic gold medal winning athlete, Usain Bolt and his inner circle, and with previously unseen footage, this film tells the highs and lows of his real journey – the work and the dedication, the inspiring astounding unique and true story of the fastest man on Earth... The main theme for I Am Bolt is an impressive action adventure theme that sounds like it's stepped off the set of a Marvel superhero movie. Sadly, the rest of the album isn't quite as interesting. But then that shouldn't be a huge surprise considering the subject matter. This is a documentary about an athlete, not the beautiful scenery of Switzerland or a look at some of the world's fascinating wildlife. Ian Arber does the movie proud, but personally I think it's a collection of themes that is best heard in the film and not on its own merits. Of this score's 15 tracks (47 min, 34 sec) personal highlights include the aforementioned ' main theme in 'Born to Run'; 'The Man from the West'; the mellow 'The Bird's Nest'; 'The Champion Becomes a Legend' (which features the main theme); and 'I Am Bolt'. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
