Seasons After Fall is a 2D platform-puzzler game that lets you dive into a captivating universe and explore a land governed by magic and nature. Seasons After Fall is a sweet and very pretty looking game - mainly down to the fact that the graphics use hand-painted elements.

The game play is fun and original... for a while. In fact it took hardly no time at all for the boredom to creep in. This is partly down to the fact that the puzzles are a little repetitive and you just feel as though you're going through the motions.

But, for me, the worst fault here was the slight pause between hitting the jump button and your character actually going through the motions of jumping. This is a huge problem bearing in mind this is a 2D platformer. I lost track of the number of times I fell off a ledge because the controls were not responsive enough. You shouldn't really be having to factor in a slight pause before you can master a game.

If you're looking for something a little different then this is worth a look, but be warned, it may not hold your attention for as look as you hope.
