Singer-songwriter and producer/engineer Louis Schefano releases his first full-length record, Opposite Side of the World. The album's first single to be released, 'Come To Think' has a '60s pop flavour to it. Here, an upbeat tempo hides its darker edge. While the '60s vibe permeates the majority of tracks on this album, that's not to say there's not a modern twist to the recordings. The album contains 10 songs (36 min, 30 sec) and I have to admit quite a fondness for the title track 'Opposite Side of the World' and 'Sail on Little Child'. It's an interesting enough indie album, but not an essential purchase. 6 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
