All good things must come to an end and so, with their 14th album, Laughs Last, Robert Pollard's freak-rock trio Circus Devils says farewell. Laughs Last contains 17 songs (38 min, 24 sec) and is a love letter to the fans. If you've been following the band for a while then you'll have to buy this album. While it's not really one of their best, it's still packed full of quality and memorable offerings. 'Do the Nixon' is a catchy, memorable tune, as is 'End of the World Ice Cream' and 'To Each His Zone (Sunshine Baby Butt)'. While it's sad that the band is wrapping things up with this offering, worry not if you're concerned you'll never hear from them again, there's also a greatest hits album released at the same time as this one, which allows you to revisit some of their more well known tracks. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
