Bliss pop band, Souvenir Driver, from Portland, USA have dropped their self-titled, full-length album via High School Records. The 8-track (36 min, 47 sec) release showcases the four-piece band’s genre-bending sound that blends indie, psychedelic, dream pop, rock and shoegaze... Souvenir Driver's self-titled album should be welcomed by fans of Indie pop. The album has a strong identity and the songs get more infectious each time you play them. It's a dreamy collection of songs, which gave me the feeling of drifting in and out of consciousness - that warm, comfortable feeling when you're between sleep and wake. 'Slow Retreat' was easily the highlight for me, despite the fact the vocals are the roughest on this track. The rough around the edges feel helps to make it a more engaging song. It's an interesting collection of tunes and well worth checking out if you're an Indie freak. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
