Varèse Sarabande release the soundtrack to 2:22. The album features the original score composed by Lisa Gerrard and James Orr as well as tracks performed by Bob Moses, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, Frances and Dreller. New York City air traffic controller Dylan Branson is the embodiment of a guy at the top of his game, until one day at 2:22pm, a blinding flash of light paralyzes him for a few crucial seconds as two passenger planes barely avoid a midair collision. Suspended from his job, Dylan begins to notice the increasingly ominous repetition of sounds and events in his life that happen at exactly the same time every day. Dylan must break the power of the past, and take control of time itself... The soundtrack to 2:22 opens with four various artists tracks which, on first play through, were easily the most memorable segments on the album. However, after a few listens I started to appreciate the subtle layers of Lisa Gerrard and James Orr score. There are moments of beauty here, including 'It Could Have Been Worse' and 'You Saved Me'. One thing worth bearing in mind is that if you buy the digital album you get 31 tracks (1 hr, 33 min, 26 sec), and if you buy the CD you only get 26 tracks (1 hr, 17 min, 49 sec). On balance it's an interesting and multi-layered score that's worthy of your time. Tracklist 01 - Like It Or Not – Bob Moses 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
