Lakeshore Records in conjunction with Frederator Studios release the soundtrack to the Netflix series Castlevania. Featuring an original score composed by Trevor Morris (The Tudors, Immortals) and produced by Morris and Trey Toy, the music is inspired by the classic video game series Castlevania. The animated series is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself... Trevor Morris's score for Castelvania is one of those scores that is interesting, contains a lot of subtle themes, but is also instantly forgettable. This is the kind of soundtrack you can easily unwind to; read a book and not have it disturb your peace. Even the 'Main Title' could pass you by if you're not paying attention. That's not to say it's not an album worth picking up, it's just that it's not particularly noteworthy. The score contains 27 tracks (59 min, 38 sec) and while not an essential purchase, fans of the show will appreciate the opportunity to own it. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
