Interscope Records releases Jeff Beal's original score for An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power. A decade after An Inconvenient Truth brought climate change into the heart of popular culture comes the follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes - in moments both private and public, funny and poignant - as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion... Jeff Beal turns in a rather sweet and memorable score for An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power. The album contains 28 tracks (1 hr, 05 min, 12 sec) and the variety of themes is quite impressive, considering this is a documentary. You can't really listen to tracks like 'View From Space' without being impressed with Beal's almost Classical music style approach to this soundtrack. This is a score that works really well as a stand alone project - mainly because of the quality of its many themes. And even atmospheric tracks, like 'Tacloban' surprise you with a heart wrenching beautiful conclusion. This is a wonderfully intricate and incredibly well structured score. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
