Kyab Yul-Sa releases his new album, Résonance d'exil(s) / Exile Vibration, through Plaza Mayor Company. The LP has deep roots in traditional music from Tibet, Nordic Europe and the Middle East... Hailing, from Tibet, Yul-Sa mixes traditional sounds of his home country with Irish, Scandinavian and French style fiddling (thanks to violinist Margaux Liénard). Added to the mix is Julien Lahaye's percussion. Lahaye studied his art in India and the Middle East, where he learned to play the zarb. The album contains 12 tracks (1 hr, 13 sec) of truly lush, rich original music steeped heavily in hundreds of years of tradition. While it won't be to everyone's tastes, those looking for something a little different will certainly find plenty of variety here. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
