Plaza Mayor Company Ltd release Marco Werba and Luigi Ferri's soundtrack for Dead on Time. The 'Arab Spring of 2011' is in full eruption, turmoil consumes the Mid-East region as protesters, rebels and insurgents wreak havoc and destruction. A Clandestine American Military Agency, 'Black Halo', is forced to move a vital asset out of the warzone in Amrakistan. A Black-Ops is sent in to securely extract Moshin Dewar and his newest invention... The most interesting aspect of Marco Werba and Luigi Ferri's score for Dead on Time is the main theme, which sounds like it has stepped right out of a British TV Spy show of the '70s. This theme is woven throughout the album's 20 tracks (32 min, 27 sec). The rest of the music, whilst entertaining, is pretty much as you'd expect given the movie's location and premise. It's not that it's cliched, just that it leans a little heavily on "indigenous" sounding themes and instrumentation. This isn't always the case, and tracks like 'The Fight' showcase a more rounded sound that is easier to embrace without constantly thinking: "Oh, we're in the middle east". The album ends with two heavy rock tracks: 'Rock Evil' by Circle Of Witches and 'The Nightmare Ain't Over' by Ansomvel. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
