Composer Ronen Landa releases his score for the movie A Rising Tide. After the destruction of his family's well-established Atlantic City restaurant during Hurricane Sandy, a young chef, Sam Rama must grow up quickly, taking the biggest risks of his life, both in business and love... The score for A Rising Tide is, on the whole, a light-hearted affair. Ronen Landa's music hits just the right note and brings forth images of late spring / early summer at the beach. Talking about the music, Landa said: "The score for A Rising Tide is about heartache and hope. I wanted to capture the essence of the sun-kissed shoreline and the love and longing that permeate the story. The idea of representing those themes with electric guitar solos intrigued me, especially in light of New Jersey’s well-known contributions to rock music. As a guitarist it was a dream to perform this music accompanied by string orchestra." The album contains 20 tracks (29 min, 27 sec) making it more an EP than a full blown album. There are plenty of intricate themes woven throughout the tracks, making this an album that's worthy of your time. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
