Lakeshore Records release Reza Safinia's score for Nude, a feature-length documentary that explores modern perceptions of modelling, nude photography and body image connected to the evolving social media landscape documenting a group of women working as professional models today. The film chronicles the casting and creation of Steve Shaw’s inaugural NU Muses project, a high-end calendar photographed by David Bellemere that celebrates the forgotten art of the classic nude, set to debut at Art Basel in Miami... Reza Safinia's score for Nude takes a modern approach while delivering a vast array of themes. While it's technically perfect, for some reason I can't put my finger on, I didn't really take much away from it. There are 12 tracks here (41 min, 08 sec) and they are titled 'Nude 1'; 'Nude 2'; 'Nude 3' etc. I'm presuming that each of the 12 nudes chosen for the calendar has their own track. I suppose it's better than call them 'January'; 'February'; 'March'... There's a lot of diversity on display, but still nothing I'd really want to add to a playlist. This is another score that's best heard for the medium it was composed for. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
