Varèse Sarabande release the Tiny Christmas soundtrack featuring original music composed by Ryan Shore for Nickelodeon’s new holiday TV movie. When a girl and her quirky cousin are accidentally zapped by a shrinking ray at the hands of one of Santa’s inept elves on Christmas Eve, they must learn to trust and appreciate each other and work as a team to get back home before Christmas, or risk staying tiny forever... Probably not surprisingly, given that they have a similar plot, there's a lot of similarities between this score and James Horner's soundtrack for Honey I Shrunk the Kids (1989). The album contains 30 tracks (59 min, 10 sec) with an obvious slant towards Christmas sounding themes. While this makes the score sound a little twee, it also instantly puts you in a festive mood. It's an interesting and varied score which sounds very much like some of the classic '80s and '90s Christmas movies. This is the perfect score to get you in the mood for Christmas. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
