Dean Valentine epic score for Viking is released through MovieScore Media. The film is the top grossing Russian film of all time. Valentine was originally hired to score the trailers for the movie, later being invited to create and score the main themes and action set pieces that play as a backdrop to a tumultuous period of the 10th century as Prince Vladimir flees his homeland and the murder of his father. He must reclaim his throne from exile with the aid of Viking mercenaries... The score for Viking is as chest beatingly epic as you could ever hope it to be. The album contains 13 tracks (42 min, 21 sec) and includes a handful of the original trailer tracks too, which is a nice touch. It also incorporates some bonus tracks. In fact if you strip those out the music from the actual film only comes in at 23 min, 56 sec. As fantasy action adventure scores go, this is multi-layered and pretty rich in content. Even if you haven't seen the movie there's quite a lot to enjoy here. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
