Beth Nielsen Chapman’s latest studio album, Hearts Of Glass represents a powerful collection of songs that dig deep into the place within us where vulnerability meets strength. The songs, mostly written by Beth alone, include several new compositions, from the haunting 'Epitaph For Love' to the instant classic 'You’re Still My Valentine', to the infectious 'Enough For Me', written with Sam. The opening track, 'Come To Mine', the only other co-written song, was composed with Graham Gouldman and Kevin Montgomery. This is a beautiful, and surprisingly intimate collection of new songs. For me, the two highlights are right in the middle of the album: 'Rage On Rage' and 'You're Still My Valentine'. The album contains 11 songs (41 min, 38 sec) and if you're a fan of Chapman's music this will probably seem more like a love letter to her followers. It's tender, it's sweet and it's extremely entertaining. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
