Mildlife is an Australian four-piece with influences ranging from the loose electronics of Caribou, Floating Points and Todd Terje to the more organic likes of Can, Sun Ra, Herbie Hancock and Tame Impala. Their new album, Phase, is released through Research Records... Lovers of electronic Funk will find much to enjoy on Mildlife's new LP, Phase. It's retro, it's modern, it's futuristic... and all wrapped up in neat little Mildlife package. The album contains 6 tracks (39 min, 59 sec) or pure trippy entertainment. It really is one of those album's your going to love or really not get. Personally, I think it's an album you'll pick up and get the most out once you've seen one of their live shows. It's an interesting collection of styles and well worth checking out if you're into Funk. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
