MovieScore Media continues its string of documentary score releases with Matthijs Kieboom’s music for Wild, Directed by Luc Enting, Wild was shot in the woods of Veluwe in the province of Gelderland. Following the life cycle of the forest for a year, the movie focuses on three particular animal species: the boar, the deer and the fox. Each animal takes a unique place in the ecosystem of the forest, some of them are hunters, others are prey - but will all of them survive the year? Matthijs Kieboom colourful symphonic score offers a rich tapestry for the forest with music that’s emotional without overriding the beauty of Nature... Matthijs Kieboom delivers a lush score for the documentary film Wild: Heart of Holland. The album contains 30 tracks (1 hr, 03 min, 53 sec) and sees Kieboom drawing true inspiration from the subject matter in order to compose a beautiful, rich palette. There are numerous interesting themes interwoven throughout this album, the end result being that this is a score that works best when played from start to finish, rather than dipping in and out of tracks. As an aside, 'The First Flight' bought to mind, thematically, Jerry Goldsmith's score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. If you're looking for a new interesting soundtrack, with plenty of standout moments of beauty, you could do a lot worse than this. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
