With a foot planted firmly in '70s rock culture, Malady new album, Toinen Toista, is wonderfully retro in style. At times I was briefly reminded of the guitar and organ riffs of Boston.

Of this album's 5 tracks (40 min, 47 sec), personal favourites include 'Tiedon Kehtolaulu' and the beautifully hypnotic closing 'Nurja Puoli' (which itself is just shy of 23 mins in length).

If you've yet to experience Finnish prog rock, then now's the time to dive in and soak it up.
