Silva Screen Records releases Ben Foster's score for ITV’s fictional hospital series The Good Karma Hospital. The series follows junior doctor Ruby Walker, as she arrives in India looking for a job and a distraction from her heartbreak. Here, doctor Walker faces realities of work, life and love at an under-resourced local hospital. The Good Karma turns no one away - locals, ex-pats and tourists are all welcomed through its doors... Ben Foster provides a beautiful string-led score, featuring authentic Indian instruments, for The Good Karma Hospital. This is beautiful, emotionally charged score which works just as well as a standalone collection of moving themes. The album contains 43 tracks (1 hr, 30 min, 41 sec) so you're getting value for money here - especially when you consider that there isn't a wasted second of music. There's no atmospheric filler material to pad out the score, this is quality music from start to finish. It's one of those albums that you can dip in and out of, but really works best if you listen to it from start to finish, as some of the more notable themes build throughout. If emotionally charged, melancholic scores are you're thing then you'll love this score. 9 Darren Rea Buy this item online
