Varèse Sarabande release the Timeless original television soundtrack, which features original music composed by Robert Duncan. Lead actress Abigail Spencer’s rendition of 'You Made Me Love You' is a special album-only bonus track. In season one of this sci-fi action-adventure series, a mysterious criminal, Flynn, steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: Lucy, a history professor; Wyatt, a soldier; and Rufus, a scientist, who must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive... Robert Duncan delivers a rich collection of themes with his work on Timeless. The score's track list kindly informs the listener which episode, as well as time period, the segments of music are from. The album contains 51 tracks (1 hr, 06 min, 15 sec). There are so many noteworthy tracks here that it's almost impossible to know where to begin singing its praises. And, even more impressively, there are very few themes that are prominently repeated. There's action, adventure, suspense as well as moments of reflection; this score pretty much has it all. If you're a fan of the show then you'll need no encouragement to add this to your collection. But, even if you haven't watched any of the episodes you'll find this an epic, beautifully produced collection of tracks. 9 Darren Rea Buy this item online
