Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet's latest release, Polka (Worldwide Deluxe Edition), may confuse their fans a little. Rather than just being a remastered edition of their 2016 release Polka, this edition leaves some tracks off and introduces new ones... On reflection it may have been a better idea to reissue the original and then put out a new album when there was enough new material... However, if you're coming to the group afresh, then this won't be a problem in the slightest.

The album contains 13 tracks (52 min, 20 sec) of modern Jazz at its finest. It opens with the slow and tender 'Roma' before moving onto the more up tempo 'Punk-t Gdansk', the laid back 'Polka', the frenetic 'London (part 1)', and the slow and laid back 'Bangkok'.

There's something here for every mood, every occasion and music lovers of all tastes. A timeless collection.
