Marvel Music and Hollywood Records release original soundtrack to Marvel’s Iron Fist: Season 2 with music by composer Robert Lydecker. Danny Rand, the Immortal Iron Fist, has left behind the day-to-day oversight of Rand Enterprises, throwing himself into his mission to defend New York City. But when an old friend returns with twisted intentions, it threatens the fragile peace Danny maintains within his community, and within himself... Robert Lydecker brings some interesting themes to his score for the second season of Iron Fist. The score contains 17 tracks (39 min, 12 sec). The first impression that I came away with after the first play through, was that one of the main theme (which can be heard in tracks like 'Danny Trains' and 'Mary in the Rain') was very reminiscent of James Horner's music for Bicentennial Man (1999). There's also elements that reminded me of Lorne Balfe's work on the console game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It's certainly a memorable and enjoyable collection of multi-layered themes, which feels more like the score for a blockbuster movie. Lydecker delivers some impressive work here. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
