Lakeshore Records release the soundtrack to Duck Duck Goose. The Album features original music by Emmy-nominated, Grammy-winning Composer Mark Isham. As the annual migration of his flock nears, carefree bachelor goose Peng is off attempting one crazy stunt after another. One such stunt scatters a flock of ducks, separating brother Chao and sister Chi ducklings from their family. After Peng allows his own flock to leave and than breaks his wing, Peng joins Chao and Chi on a journey that will teach Peng the power of unconditional love as the three grow into a family... Mark Isham is allowed to run wild and free with his score for Duck Duck Goose. From track to track he shifts and changes themes from comedy to action/adventure, taking in numerous world flavours (three's a Far Eastern feel to tracks like 'The New Mom'). But it's the mellow, melancholic tracks, like 'Really Flying', where this score's heart is. The album consists of 33 tracks (1 hr, 11 min, 56 sec). And as interesting as it is, it's more a music cues album than it is a theme based score. I found it interesting to put on in the background while reading. It's a lovely little score, but certainly not one that will grab your attention. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
