Varèse Sarabande release the first-ever double LP release for the original soundtrack from 2005's V For Vendetta. This double-LP features new jacket artwork of the masked face of V designed by “Ghoulish Gary” Pullin, who previously designed album covers for soundtracks to Wes Craven’s Scream and John Carpenter’s Christine. The album also includes songs from Cat Power and Antony and The Johnsons as well as 1950’s Jazz artist, Julie London... If you don't already own the soundtrack to V for Vendetta then now is the perfect time to finally add it to your music library... unless you're not a collector of vinyl. This 2-LP contains 13 tracks (1 hr, 03 min, 10 sec) which includes Dario Marianelli's (The Boxtrolls; Everest; In This World, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) epic score as well as a number of songs. In addition, the release includes a wearable "Guy Fawkes" mask, like the thousands donned in the film’s pivotal scene. This really should be in every true soundtrack collector's library. Marianelli delivers a gothic, epic score with sinister undertones and a lot of heart. The songs are part of the movie, but personally I wasn't overly interested in hearing them more than once, but it does help to round out the album. Overall, a wonderfully rich and multilayered score. Track listing: All songs by Dario Marianelli unless otherwise indicated 01. Remember Remember (6:42) 9 Darren Rea Buy this item online
