Lakeshore Records release Trevor Morris's score for Hunter Killer. Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Captain Glass must now command an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and escape through enemy waters to prevent WWIII... Trevor Morris's soundtrack for Hunter Killer contains 47 tracks (1 hr, 35 min, 05 sec) of adrenaline pumping action adventure themes. In many respects it reminded me of Harry Gregson-Williams and Stephen Barton's score for video game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007). This is most obvious on tracks like 'Only Coin I Carry (Glass' Theme)' and 'Submerge the Ship (USS Arkansas Theme)'. This is an engaging score and is ideal to listen to while playing a video game, as the music gets the adrenaline pumping. Fans of suspense / action scores will find much to enjoy here. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
