MovieScore Media releases the soundtrack to the movie Megan Leavey. Based on a true story, the film takes its viewers behind the frontlines of the Iraq war to tell the story of the titular Marine corporal and her military combat dog Rex as they save several lives during their deployments to Fallujah and Ramadi... Mark Isham's score for Megan Leavey is one that's best left in the movie where it was designed for. For me, this didn't work very well as a standalone collection of themes, being more a jumbled mismatch of atmospheric music cues. The album contains 18 tracks (48 min, 52 sec) and even after several weeks of listening to it, I still feel I'm no closer to getting to grips with it. What it does, for the movie, it does remarkable well, but I doubt I'll be digging it out again to listen to in the near future. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
