Sony Music release Daniel Pemberton's original score for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask... Putting a new spin on the Marvel Comics universe, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Spidey fans to a whole different experience. Composer Daniel Pemberton is along for the ride, bringing us a score that beautifully encapsulates the ethos of this new universe, employing a number of techniques, including DJ scratching, electronic synths and soaring orchestral arrangements. The end result is as engaging and intriguing as the onscreen action and really helps to create the right atmosphere. These 44 tracks (1 hr, 21 min, 46 sec) are just as enjoyable outside of the movie. Those worried that the modern approach Pemberton takes will result in the loss of any beautiful, melancholic moments need only listen to tracks like 'Saying Goodbye' to discover that the composer covers all bases. Not only is this a wonderful score from a listeners point of view, but it's also clear that Pemberton had a lot of fun stretching his creative muscles from track to track. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
