Fews release their new LP, Into Red, via Play it Again Sam. This release sees the band dialing up the intensity with a record boasting a heavier, innovative though nonetheless catchy dynamic than the blueprint of their debut... Into Red is an album that takes a little time to appreciate. Sure, even on a first play through tracks like 'Paradiso' are instantly accessible and quick to lodge themselves in your brain. But after a few listens the opening 'Quiet' will be one you can't get enough of. Fews are an infectious indie rock group who shift and change their identity from track to track. They refuse to be pigeonholed, which is why they stand out like a beacon in an otherwise crowded genre. Into Red contains 10 songs (39 min, 46 sec) of almost melancholic yet upbeat rock. This is world's apart from their 2016 debut LP, Means. If you're a fan of indie rock, but are a little bored of how similar everything is starting to sound... do yourself a favour and pick up this release. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
