Jamie Freeman returns with his new album Dreams About Falling. Over the course of this LP's 10 songs (43 min, 48 sec) Freeman explores subjects including parental expectations, childhood potential, and facing up to the possibility of falling short of those aspirations... Jamie Freeman casts the net wide on his latest release, Dreams About Falling. With a solid Americana base, he delivers a number of songs about childhood or upbringing, how that shapes an adult and how they remember and deal with those memories. It also incorporates feelings of doing something exciting and scary, or waking from a dream just before you hit the ground. It's a reflective release that most of us will be able to relate to in one way or another. The shift in pace and mood from track to track is another highlight here. Freeman's vocal's effortlessly transform from mellow songs ('The Man I Want To Be') to more energetic offerings ('All in the Name'). Over the course of these 10 songs, there are a number of notable guest vocals including Angaleena Presley, Brandy Zdan and Amy Speace. Freeman's fans will love this, as will lovers of Americana. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
