Jeff Beal is allowed to let his creative juices run riot on Light Falls. From start to finish, this 30 track (54 min, 38 sec) never delivers anything other than engaging and emotive themes.

Tracks like 'Faster than Light' and 'Forty-three Arc Seconds' show Beal's compositions at their most beautiful, whilst pieces like 'Light Falls' have an eerie, ethereal sound that is haunting and instantly memorable.

For fans of Beal's work, this seems him at his most creative. It's definitely worth owning.
