Radical Face's Therapy Alternate Reality Versions features six reworked versions of the songs featured on the Therapy EP out now via Bear Machine Records. Somehow this one slipped through the net, and I'm very glad it did. We don't normally review EPs or singles (mainly down to time constraints) and we originally let Therapy slip through our hands... Therapy Alternate Reality Versions was so intriguing that I was convinced enough to download the original EP too. What Radical Face deliver here is the perfect accompaniment to the first EP. 'Better Days' opens in a very similar vein to 'Open House' from Lou Reed and John Cale's 1990 album Songs for Drella. And, to be honest I did get a similar vibe to the rest of tracks. They could so easily be Reed/Cale collaborations. A warm and instantly accessible release that's worth getting hold of. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
