Silva Screen Records release Sarah Warne’s soundtrack to the gritty 4-part BBC drama series Dark Money. Delving into the corrupting influence of empty celebrity and effects of the aftermath of child abuse and non-disclosure agreements, Warne’s score provides both counterpoint to the heart-wrenching story and space for it to unravel... The soundtrack for Dark Money is mainly composed of background electronic cues. There's little here in the way of engaging themes. At times it felt like a score that had been composed separately to the series, where the tracks were so vague that they could be slotted in to the final edit without any fuss. It's cold, rather bland and overall offers little of merit. Maybe, just maybe, if you were deeply touched by the series you might find something here to latch onto. Everyone else will just find it monotonous and drawn out. 3 Darren Rea Buy this item online
