Binker Golding releases his latest solo album. Abstractions of Reality Past & Incredible Feathers builds on his collaboration with Moses Boyd with who he released the jazz-infused Journey to the Mountain of Forever under their Binker and Moses moniker.

On this new LP, Golding delivers 7 (46 min, 56 sec) solid jazz tracks that draw heavily on the scene's long history. It's a smooth sound with elements of improv and is one that can be dipped in and out of without feeling that you're missing something.

While it won't shake your world, or set the jazz scene on fire, this is an enjoyable album that you can kick off your shoes and relax to.
