Sony Masterworks present the original score for Countdown. Composed by Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans. When a nurse downloads an app that claims to predict the moment a person will die, it tells her that she only has three days to live. With the clock ticking and a figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out...

Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurrianns's score for Countdown is what it is... and nothing more. For the movie it adds to the overall background atmosphere, but when listened to on its own merits, it just feels a little too flat - like a collection of music cues that ultimately go nowhere.

I was reminded of John Williams's music on The Deep when listening to 'Haunting Jordan' and Brad Fiedel's work on Terminator 2: Judgment Day on 'Demonic Finale', but other than that I found little of interest here.

Technically you can feel how this works well in the movie, but it just doesn't have the ability to stand on its own two feet as a stand alone collection of music themes.
