Whether you've heard of Hayden Tee, or have no idea who he is, one thing is certain... If you're a fan of musical theatre you'll fall in love with this album. The most impressive thing about Face to Face is that Tee takes a wonderfully diverse collection of songs and makes them his own. Sure, some he's already performed on stage, but he puts a new spin on each track and in some cases it's almost as though you're hearing the song for the first time.

I totally loved 'Lily's Eyes' and 'It All Fades Away' (which incorporates a particularly impressive reworking of Dvorak’s 'New World' Symphony to heighten the emotional underscore of the piece).

The album contains 9 songs (33 min, 12 sec) and if I had one complaint it's that it's far too short. I could have listened to much more in a similar vein.

An impressive album that not only showcases Tee's wonderful voice, but also allows you to rediscover some of these songs in a new light.
