Team 17 publish Blacklight Interactive's multiplayer Crazy Golf game, Golf With Your Friends. Nothing is out of bounds as you take on 9 courses filled with fast paced, exciting, simultaneous mini golf for up to 12 players...

Review imageEveryone loves Crazy Golf, right? Well now it's crazier... if that's possible. Play on your own or with up to 11 other friends online to see who is the king of the putter. The game's 9 base courses offer unique mechanics and holes. Themes include your standard course 'Forest', but get more interesting with 'Candyland', 'Space Station', and 'Haunted'. There's even a course based around the classic Worms franchise.

The hole's (each course has 18) are punishing challenging. It's very unlikely that you'll do well on any course on the first play through. This is mainly down to the fact that the flag is nowhere in sight when you start some of the holes and so knowing where to go and how hard to hit the ball is very much a leap of faith. But once you get to know the courses your performance will get better. While you can (for a short time period) use a free floating mode to get your bearings, it's not always a lot of help.

There are also a number of ways to play each course, including 'Hockey' (your putter is a hockey stick and your ball is a puck) or 'Dunk' (where the challenge is to dunk the ball through a basketball hoop. The 'Party' mode is designed for multiplayer games where powerups are available all over each course. These can help you win, or hinder your friends.

Review imageI did have a couple of instances where the camera got stuck behind a wall, so I was unable to see where I was aiming, and one instance of a ball being stuck, meaning I had to restart the course. But to be honest I was surprised that there weren't way more bugs evident as the courses are large and there are a lot of obstacles.

Overall this is a fun and fast paced multiplayer game which works equally well offline as a solo experience.
