Container will be different things to different people. To some it will be a nostalgic throwback to '80s pop, to others the punk roots will be hard to ignore, and then there are those that will see this as a wonderfully fresh modern album.

To me, all three elements were true, but it started to lose me when electronic twangs and drones replaced any semblance of order or coherent music construction. Was this meant to heighten the listening experience? Or was it used purely to stretch the album from an EP to an LP? The jury is still out on that one.

Far from a train wreck, but equally as far from being an essential purchase. Probably one to listen to first before parting with your money.
