Justin Melland's original electronic score for Mosquito is released via Plaza Mayor Company. The film follows a Portuguese soldier who gets lost in the African jungle, in 1917. It tell the story of the lonely odyssey, through the inhospitable World War One African landscape, by private Zacarias... Over the course of this album's 19 tracks (42 min, 34 sec) composer Justin Melland really does inhabit the protagonist of the movie: experiencing his fears, obsessions and, on occasion, his euphoria. Even if you're not generally someone who enjoys electronic scores, it's pretty obvious that the composer has gone that extra mile to deliver something that really captures the mood of the movie. There are also some great pieces that can be played to heighten other elements of your life. For example, tracks like 'Nameless' are the perfect thrill ride to put on whilst playing driving games or the futuristic spaceship racing game franchise Wipeout. An enjoyable and wide ranging modern score that packs quite a punch. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
