Nkem Njoku & Ozzobia Sound’s one and only album, Ozobia Special, is an example of early '80s Igbo Highlife, drawing on Ghana Highlife as well as traditional Ogene 6/8 bell tempos... Epitomizes the feel-good, gospel-tinged party atmosphere of Igbo Highlife, Nkem Njoku & Ozzobia Sound’s Ozobia Special has been long out of circulation, but thanks to the people at BBE Music it's been reissued and is bound to find a new audience. It's an upbeat Ghanaian album which is global in its appeal. Of course if you're not a fan off cheesy disco albums then it's unlikely that this will convert you, but for those who warmly embrace the genre this has a lot to offer. On a side note 'Osula Nwa Eje Ubi Eje Oba' sounds like they band are fondly singing "Oh, Slough"... But I doubt they are... Who would? An upbeat party album that will get you shaking those hips... 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
