Wesley Gonzalez releases his retro feel good album Appalling Human via Moshi Moshi Records. Influenced by everything from '90s west-coast hip-hop and Ghanaian house music, to Prince and Eurythmics, Gonzalez describes the album as a post therapy project... From the opening 'Tried To Tell Me Something' I knew I was in for an enjoyable, nostalgic listening experience. Fans of '80s throwback bands will instantly embrace Wesley Gonzalez's world here. The LP consists of 12 songs (45 min, 05 sec) and really embraces the synth-pop era of the '80s. From start to finish this is an upbeat and joyous release which you'll find hard to resist. Every time I come back to it it puts a huge smile on my face. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
