Simone Kopmajer has a voice that is hard to resist. Like a siren she draws you in, turning songs you might think you already know on their head and making them her own. I've always thought that Burt Bacharach's 'Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head' was a little twee, but Kopmajer gives it a new, modern lease of life while still paying respect to the original.

For those that buy their album's digitally there seems to be an additional track on the downloadable album that's not mentioned on the CD listing: 'Batida Diferente'.

I really loved 'A Trembling Moon' which takes Debussy's classical 'Clair de Lune' and reworks it into an incredibly beautiful song.

This is an wonderful laid back collection of jazz and reworked for jazz pieces. Kopmajer is an incredibly talented artist and that's all the excuse you really need to add this to your music library.
