Beautifully mixing a western score with traditionally sounding Indian music, A Suitable Boy consists of 45 tracks (1 hr, 38 min, 04 sec)... but I could so easily have listened to more... much more.

It's a wonderful vibe and one that fans of the series will already be in love with, but I'd argue that it works just as well if you haven't seen the show. Alex Heffes works his magic transporting us to India without relying on the usual cliches we've come to expect. The use of traditional Indian instruments and song structure weave throughout this album without ever outstaying their welcome.

I highly recommend this soundtrack. It's subtle, beautiful and heartwarmingly satisfying.
