Vocalist Badi and producer Boddhi Satva release their latest album, Trouble Fête, on Batakari, the new label from Satva and BBE Music's founder Peter Adarkwah. The album sees the Belgian rapper deliver a hip-hop album overflowing with catchy Afrobeats... Trouble Fête works well mainly because it shifts and changes from track to track. 'Muasi Na Ngai' is probably the most accessible song here... and we're given two versions of it: the original and the 'Percy Version'. It's an album that needs quite a few listens to really get into. Yes, on a first play through you'll be caught up by the upbeat tempo and positive vibe, but give it a few weeks to breath, like a fine bottle of red wine, and you'll soon be spotting elements that you had previously overlooked. Its positive energy alone makes this one worthy of your time. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
