The Cribs release their latest LP, Night Network, via Sonic Blew / [PIAS]. Their fifth studio album delivers more of their unique blend of bittersweet melody and brutal lyrical honesty... Night Network bares witness to the Motown stomp of 'Never Thought I'd Feel Again' and 'Under The Bus Station Clock', red and blue album-era Beatles ('Running Into You' and 'In The Neon Night', respectively), melodic '70s style pop on 'Deep Infatuation', and even early work by their own band. For those that have been following The Cribs for years, this is another enjoyable slice of upbeat indie music that sounds timeless. It's almost impossible to not find something to like here, even if you don't count yourself amongst their fans. The album contains 12 engaging tracks (43 min, 04 sec). 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
