Plaza Mayor Company release Nascuy Linares's original score for Once Upon a Time in Venezuela. The movie followers villagers in the Venezuelan community of Lake Maracaibo as they fight against pollution, corruption and neglect to keep homes and a way of life... The music for the documentary film Once Upon a Time in Venezuela is going to be one you fall instantly in love with, or it's one that you really won't be able to get on with. Personally, while I could see its obvious merits for the movie it was composed for, I didn't find that it had enough substance to warrant listening to outside of the film. It's more an EP than a full album, containing just 13 tracks (16 min, 35 sec). This is actually probably a good thing, as the few themes that there are seem to be a little over used and it has a tendency to sound like it's a little stuck in a rut. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
