Adam Taylor hits the sweet spot with his score for The Right Stuff. Not too cheesy and patriotic and not too epic and sweeping in nature, this score has a core that is seeped in mystery, intrigue and wonder. It's subtle in places, and all embracing in others.

Pieces like 'Good Day For a Launch' adds suspense and wonder to the onscreen action. This is a score that can stands on its own merits as well as providing the emotional heart of the show.

You can dip in and out of this score just as easily as listening from start to finish, as every track has something of interest - something very rare these days.

Overall, a good mix of epic and melancholic music. This is a score I thoroughly recommend.
