Pack your bags and grab your Haul Pass-port. We're heading off to a team-building power weekend on Packmore Island. Move and groove across 24 new tropical and arcade levels and discover ridiculous new mechanics, obstacles and enemies. Includes four new tropical movers...
For those that have played and very much enjoyed 2020's Moving Out (and I count myself in that list), Team17 bring us some additional challenges in the form of the Movers in Paradise DLC. You can access the content at any time by going to the east side of the map and heading over to Packmore Island. There are a few new things your character must interact with and so we have another brief tutorial. This also helps to refresh those that haven't played the game in a while. The puzzles in Movers in Paradise are a little more fiendish... almost as though the developers thought to themselves: "[evil laugh] How can we fox the poor saps this time?" So we have giant fans that we can pick up and blow items around, rooms that fill and empty with water and turntables that open and close various things... as well as many other additions. So now not only are you lugging furniture around as quickly as you can, but you'll also need to have a good long look at your environment to work out how on earth to rescue those tricky items.
If anything, the range of levels is much more varied than the base game and each time you complete a level you know that the next one is going to be radically different. A weird assortment of beasties roam some of the levels, including crabs that will try to wrestle the items of furniture off you, and goats that butt you out of the way. As with the base game, it's open to all ages and is a lot of fun. Plus there's the additional achievements to try to complete on each level. Team17 have taken the fun aspect of the original and built on it. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
