Enter a labyrinth that moves as you move, where mastering the elements is key to defeating enemies and uncovering the mysteries of this underground world. With a new experience awaiting every time you enter the dungeon, let the power bestowed by the crown guide you in this challenging adventure...
Crown Trick is an animated rogue-like RPG adventure game characterized by turn-based combat and skill-item interactive strategy. This is one of those games you're going to love or really not see what all the fuss is about. If, like me, you grew up on dungeon maze adventures then Crown Trick will be a hell of a lot of retro fun... but brought up to date for a more modern gamer. You wander around the maze of caverns fighting off the odd enemy and looting any crates you come across. At first there seems to be a very steep learning curve, working out special moves, whether to keep a weapon or trade it for another... but once you get into the swing of things you'll soon be raging through the environments. One of the great elements of the game is the neat way that each time you start the dungeon layout completely changes, so you'll never feel like you're just going through the motions. Around every corner could be a new enemy or a cool new power/weapon.
It also employs synchronous turn-based mechanics. The game moves as you move, and your enemies will stand still until you decide what’s the best way to attack. Take however long you need to map out your route, decide the best way to avoid traps, or how to use the elements to your advantage. Plan your strategy to cause the maximum amount of damage with the least amount of hassle. Throw fire on top of oil to burn monsters and mix lightning with water to electrocute your foes. You can also gain special powers by defeating certain beasties. This increases your arsenal of skills. For old gamers, like me, this is a wonderful retro game for an incredibly reasonable price. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
