Release Date: 22 January 2021

Belgian indie rockers Teen Creeps release their second album, Forever, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut Birthmarks. The band are just as intense and heavily influenced by nineties indie rock as their previous work. Their sound is reminiscent of bands from that era, like Dinosaur Jr, Superchunk and Sonic Youth with fuzzy guitars, melancholic vocals and fast-paced drums...

Lovers of '90s indie rock will feel right at home listening to Teen Creeps new LP, Forever. Its fuzzy guitars and general grunge sound will transport you back in time.

But don't for one moment think that they don't have anything new to bring to the table. The three piece from Belgium bring the past vividly to life by dragging its esthetics kicking and screaming into the present.

It's true that they've captured the essence of those halcyon days of indie rock, but put their own twist on the genre. If I had one slight complaint, it's that there's little variety on display here. Each track simply merges into the next.
