Lucero have their own unique sound which sets them apart from other bands. There's a little country-folk mixed in with rock music. The end result is more satisfying than you might think.

When You Found Me is their tenth studio album, so you know they're doing something right. The beauty of it is that it's pretty much a timeless collection of tracks with quite a bit of diversity between songs. There's a bizarre nostalgic sound which reminded my of listing to bands of the '80s - Like Boston's Third Stage era. But somehow Lucero has captured that feel and presented it as a modern interpretation of that classic sound.
